Hi, my name is Christina and I am 10 years old. My birthday is on April 1st of 1989 in a city called Riga, Latvia. I was only 3 months old when I left that country to move to the United States. On my family's way to the U.S. we visited Austria and Italy. It was an exciting journey.

A few months after our arrival to the United States my little sister Oxana was born, and our family expanded to four members. My sister and I are just 13 months apart; we are very good friends.

Both of us go to the same school, play games together, read, play piano, sing together to our dad's music.

Our parents had to go to school when we came and we also had our grandmother to take care of us while we were little.

My father is a musician, and my mother is becoming a doctor just in two months. I am very proud of my parents since both of them work very hard and are very good role models for us.

I like to play outside, review piano peices, play a recorder, help mother to cook, read, ice skating, roller blading, snow tubing, drawing, traveling, make pancakes, type on a computer, and play new games. I want to be a teacher when I grow up.
