COAST TO COAST
A Journey from Seattle to Ft. Lauderdale

On Monday, January 18, 2000, the students and Mr. Riley of Room 106 at Camelot Elementary will depart on our specially designed bus to explore the United States. We will travel throughout the night and arrive in a new city each day. While continuing to have school and learn all that we can learn, we will explore the sites that make each city we visit special. We will be keeping a daily journal which will record the weather, special events and sites, restaurants, and people that we meet. We will be given a checking account where we will be responsible for keeping a balance and record of the money we have spent.

You can read pieces of our journal on our classroom web page.

Our final destination will be Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where we will enjoy a swim in the warm Atlantic Ocean (Mr. Riley's indoor pool in Downtown Seattle). Here, many of our parents will join us for this celebration. Together we will fly home to Seattle to begin planning our next trip.
