Author Study

After going to the library a few times and thinking hard you will decide which author you want to research. This should be an author who has written books for children. You can use the Internet to learn about the author you have chosen. Every other week we will celebrate a different author by looking and listening to stories written by them. We will listen to you tell us about the author we are discovering. Author Study Questions that would help your audience know more about your author as a writer.

Mr. Riley when you have decided on an author to research. Once you've made the
decision there will be very few changes. Ask yourself before choosing: Is there
enough information on my author for an interesting poster and presentation?
